Mrs. Stacian Roberts

Hey there Roo Family!

My name is Stacian Roberts, and I am excited to be joining Killeen High School. I was born and raised in Jamaica. Initially, I came to the United States on a Track and Field Scholarship. I attended Schools in Jamaica EC-12 and then came to the United States to attend Southern University at New Orleans my freshman year of college. Later, I transferred to West Virginia University. I graduated from WVU with a Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy and Business Administration and a Master’s Degree in Exercise Science/Athletic Coaching Education. It was after that, I decided to pursue a career as a College Strength and Conditioning Coach. I coached for 6 years at multiple universities, including the University of Central Florida and Ohio State University. Then, I made the decision to pursue my teaching certification, so I moved to Texas.

In Texas, I  got my first teaching and coaching position in Arlington ISD as a PE teacher and coach from 2007-2016. In 2015 and while I was still in AISD, I got my Principal Certification in Educational Leadership from Lamar University. However,  in 2016, I pcs’d with my husband and young son to Fort Hood {currently Fort Cavazos} and continued my teaching and coaching career at Charles Patterson Middle School from 2016-2018. Good Times!!! I taught for two years and then pcs’d again. We left for about 6 years while I still taught and coached in numerous school districts.

With 23 years in education and 16 years in school districts, I have served in many different capacities from PE, Avid, SPED, Multimedia, BIM/CTE, UIL Coordinator, Lead Teacher, and Admin. I am super excited that we have recently relocated back to Killeen for good. We love and miss the people and the community here in Killeen ISD! I am especially happy to be back in the district and in a different role where I will be serving as a Campus Instructional Specialist. My husband who is in the military and an educator in KISD, along with our son who will be a student in the district, my extended family, and my friends are very happy and proud to see me embark on this new journey. I am looking forward to the start of the new school year, which will fully embark on opportunities with all to collaborate, learn, and grow with each other. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or need assistance. Have a Great School Year!
