Mrs. Scarlet Biggs

I am Scarlet Biggs, the Student Activities Coordinator at Killeen High School. I grew up in Lubbock, Texas, and in 2003, I relocated to Killeen with my husband, who served in the military for 21 years. Our 22 years of marriage have been a journey filled with mutual support as we navigate the unique challenges of military life.

I began my teaching career at Union Grove Middle School, where I taught middle school math. This role ignited my commitment to student success and led me to the Education Service Center. There, I worked in the grants department. I also had the opportunity to work in the Killeen ISD Communications Department, where I developed skills for effectively communicating the district’s goals and achievements. Additionally, I served as an Educational Diagnostician in Academy ISD, working closely with students to assess their educational needs and ensure they received the support they required.

As a proud mother of three—ages 25, 19, and 12—I strive to balance family life with my professional commitments. My goal is to create an environment where my children and my students can thrive academically and personally.

In my role as the student activities coordinator at Killeen High School, I continue to inspire and empower students to engage with their school community. My diverse experiences in education and unwavering commitment to student success drive me to make a positive impact every day. ROO Pride is Justified, and I am PROUD to be a Killeen Kangaroo!!
