Ms. Cassandra Morrow

Hello Roo Family!

My name is Cassandra Morrow, and I am Killeen High School’s Coordinator of Special Education. I was born and raised in Sacramento, CA. I lived in Giessen Germany from 2001-2004, and in 2004 I came to Killeen. I completed my Bachelor of Science degree in May 2008 from Tarleton State University CT and my master’s degree in educational administration in December 2012 from Texas A&M University CT. I have taught Kindergarten, 4th grade, and 6th grade math. In the 19-20, 20-21, and 21-22 school years, I had the opportunity to serve Liberty Hill Middle School as the Campus Facilitator of Special Programs - serving all students in special education and Section 504. In November 2021, I was honored to be hired as the Coordinator of Special Education at KHS! I began my new role in January 2022.

I have been married to my husband, Chris, for 24 years. He serves this wonderful country in the US Army (24 years and counting!). Together we have three children. My oldest is an Early College High School 2020 graduate, my middle child is a Killeen High School 2024 graduate, and my youngest attends Chaparral High School. My children are the loves of my entire life, and I am so proud of all their individual accomplishments.

I feel that serving the special education community in KISD is a calling. My two oldest children both have special needs and that helps me to appreciate and understand the challenges, tears, and celebrations of raising a child with special needs. I am blessed to serve KHS in this capacity. LET’S GO BIG ROOS!

With love,

Cassie Morrow
