Ms. Christina Robinson

Hi there! I am so excited to be back here in Killeen where my career in education began, but also where I graduated from THE Killeen High School! I was born in Louisiana, but we moved quite a bit due to my dad being in the military. We finally landed in Texas, where I spent 8th-12th grade here in Killeen. Once I graduated from Texas Woman’s University in 2012, I decided to join the Texas Army National Guard. While waiting to go to basic training, I started substitute teaching and absolutely fell in love with teaching. I officially started teaching in 2015 at Charles Patterson Middle School, where I taught Math and AVID, while also coaching volleyball and track.

After 7 wonderful years, I ventured off to the Dallas area where I taught Math and coached volleyball, track and soccer in Mesquite ISD. Killeen seemed to be calling me back home, because my fiancé got orders to Fort Cavazos. After two years away, we headed back to Killeen this summer where I happily took a position as one of the Campus Instructional Specialists here at Killeen High School.

I’m beyond thrilled to be here with this amazing Roo family. I hold so much pride having gone here as a student, now working here at a place that holds so many memories, and a beautiful place in my heart. My goal is to ensure that I can help and coach our teachers as much as possible to ensure that our students are as successful as they can be. When our teachers are set up for success, our students can reach new levels and goals that they may not have seen before. When students can thrive in the classroom, they are able to translate that into the outside world where they can be confident and comfortable in their own abilities.

I’m very excited about this new journey and I’m eager for the year ahead! Roo Pride is Justified!
