Ms. LaDawn Spiller

My name is LaDawn Spiller, and I will be serving as one of your assistant principals of Killeen High School. I have spent my entire elementary and secondary school years in Killeen ISD. I went to Hay Branch Elementary, Brookhaven Intermediate School, Rancier Middle School and finished at Killeen High School. In 2013, I started my teaching career in Clovis, NM at Clovis High School Freshman Academy, teaching Algebra 1 and Honors Geometry. I started my family in 2016, having my first child, my son Colton Jr. Also in 2016, I moved campuses to teach at Clovis High School. In 2017, I made the decision to move back to Killeen to become a ROO again. I began teaching at Killeen High School in 2017, and I have never looked back. In 2021, my family grew larger with the birth of my daughter, LaShaun Dream. In 2023, I made the decision to pursue a master’s degree in educational leadership with a principal certification. In August 2024 I graduated with a Master of Educational Leadership degree. I made the decision to come out of the classroom to make an impact on students in a different way. I look forward to making a difference to everyone that I encounter.
