Master's of Science in Athletic Administration - Texas A&M Commerce Bachelor of Science in Education - Baylor University Texas Principal as Instructional Leader Certification

Mrs. Jessica Beeman

Growing up in Willis, Texas, I was heavily influenced by my grandmother who retired from elementary education.  She instilled in me a love of learning and sharing that knowledge with others.

I started my educational journey at Baylor University studying Education and Sports Medicine.  In 2001, I began my Athletic Trainer career in Killeen ISD at Harker Heights High School.  After 8 years as an Assistant Athletic Trainer, I left to take on a solo Athletic Training role in Lorena and then Temple College.

In August 2016, I returned to Killeen ISD as the Assistant Athletic Trainer at Killeen High School, working alongside the famous Al "Doc" Wilson.  Following Doc Wilson's retirement, I advanced into the Head Athletic Trainer position that I held for the past 8 years.

While working as the Head Athletic Trainer, I continued my education by receiving a Master's in Athletic Administration from Texas A&M Commerce in 2021 and received my Principal as an Instructional Leader Certification this past April.  Upon this certification, I began looking for opportunities in educational leadership that would allow me the chance to continue to support the students of Killeen ISD while providing me with more time with my family.

My husband Brad and I have been married 23 years, and we have 3 boys that have either graduated from Killeen ISD or currently attend schools within the district.  Connor is a 2023 graduate of Killeen HS and now attends Tarleton University as a member of their football team.  Colton attends Harker Heights HS and Cash attends Skipcha Elementary School.

Being able to support the teachers and students of Killeen High School while having more time for my family is very important to me.  I look forward to working hard for Killeen High School and making a positive impact on those that I come in contact with.
