Mr. Matt Widacki

Born and raised here in Killeen by two retired Killeen ISD educators, I understand the unique qualities of our community, and it is my privilege to serve this community with a rich and versatile history.  Prior to coming to Killeen High, I served the district as teacher, coach, and middle school principal. 

I am committed to providing the best educational services for our students and consider myself lucky to educate students from many different cultural backgrounds and varying academic levels. I strive to give each student the opportunity to meet with success in all his/her endeavors at school. By delivering high-quality, research-based instruction and maintaining high standards, our students are given the opportunity to learn at rates equal to, if not superior to all other students in the state. 

I encourage all students to get involved in any number of clubs or activities that we provide on campus.  By providing a comprehensive program that focuses on the whole child, Killeen High School hopes to assist each student in developing an enthusiasm for learning that includes happiness, a positive self-image, and an inquisitive nature.
