Supporting Those Who Serve

  • Q. What if I am struggling with stress, anxiety, or other mental health concerns, or know a family or community member who has immediate mental health needs?

    A. Please consider accessing one or more of the following resources:

    1. Any employee, family member, or neighbor may also use the local mental health services hotline at (800) 888-4036, so they can assess any immediate needs and services.  Here is additional information on Bell County and surrounding area resources.  Texas Health & Human Services also offers this Support Line, which averages a short 28 second wait time.

    2. If you are a district employee, you may access the District’s FREE, confidential Employee Assistance Program by contacting the program at (800) 316-2796 or here.  Our KISD counselors can also assist directly or with referrals to additional appropriate resources.

    3. Those who use the KISD provided health insurance, you may log into myuhc.com, https://prod.member.myuhc.com/content/myuhc/en/public/member-ei-login.html, to view all available services or call 1-888-331-3408 to have a representative assist you with finding a provider that is within the network.

KISD also offer employees who are covered under the plan the ability to enroll in Rally where you can take wellness assessments and work on your health goals.  Just click here to check it out.   For additional information, peruse the following link for employee wellness information, https://www.killeenisd.org/employee_benefits.
