Welcome Military Families!
-
Welcome to the Killeen Independent School District! Killeen ISD proudly serves the central Texas communities of Killeen, Fort Cavazos, Harker Heights, and Nolanville. KISD provides excellent educational opportunities to ensure all students served are able to reach their maximum learning potential.
We recognize that school-age dependents of military personnel are faced with numerous transitions during their formative years that may pose challenges to their learning and achievement. In recognition of those challenges and the importance of military families to our community, KISD remains committed to supporting our military-connected students and their families. We hope you find the resources on this page helpful as you transition into your new duty station.
