Questions about my stipends/compensation?
An employee can contact the HR Operations Department by sending en email to CompensationQuestionsHR@killeenisd.org for questions/concerns related to compensation. Please be specific and provide as many details as possible in the email.

How can I donate days to a sick leave pool?
To donate days to a sick leave pool:
- Open an internet browser,
- Enter the following url in the web browser www.kisdhub.com
- Sign in using your KISD credentials
- Top left side of your screen, select Staff Resources
- Select the icon labeled Sick Leave Pool
- Log in using your username and password
The sick leave pool page will pop up then follow the prompts for additional information required.

How do I get a sick leave pool?
To qualify for a sick leave pool, an employee would have to apply for FMLA, already be on FMLA or have previously been on FMLA during the current school year. A sick leave pool will be created for the employee and the employee will receive a computer-generated email with a sick leave pool number.
The employee will need to contact leaveshr@killeenisd.org to request the application. -
How do I apply for FMLA?
An employee can apply for FMLA by sending an email to leaveshr@killeenisd.org to request FMLA paperwork. In the subject line, please indicate ‘Requesting FMLA’.
In the body of the email, please let the HR Leaves team know if the leave time is needed for your own serious health condition or for a family member’s serious health condition. Please also indicate the approximate date you would start your FMLA and how long you expect to be out or if the leave needed is intermittent leave. Once the request is received, HR Operations will send you an email with further details and instructions.
*Please note: FMLA is not paid leave unless the employee has the appropriate leave accruals to be in a paid status during their absence. -
How do I apply for short term and/or long term disability?
Short-term and Long-term disability benefits is handled by the Employee Benefits Department. Please contact Employee Benefits at (254) 336-0165 or (254) 336-0177.
