• As a result of the need to ensure we are protecting our users and our network from cybercrime, the district is enhancing its password protection features next week. This will require you to follow the steps associated with establishing your access. You will lose access to your district email account and other district programs(TEAMS/OneDrive/Office365/SharePoint), unless you sign up for two-factor authentication by Monday, June 28, 2021.

All employees will be required to enter a code received by phone, text, or Microsoft Authenticator app.  To begin this process, all employees must go to https://mysignins.microsoft.com to select their preferred verification method.

Download our step-by-step guide by clicking here or watch our video below to get started.

There are three options to enroll in Microsoft Multi-Factor Authentication. If you do not complete one of the below steps between today and June 28, 2021, you will be prompted to do so the next time you log into the KISD network or attempt to use a KISD application.

    1. Sign up for the Text/Call-to-Cell phone feature
    2. Download Microsoft Authentication App from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store
    3. Call-to-Direct KISD Phone Extension
        a. If you pick this option, you will need to have immediate access to your office phone in order to successfully authenticate

If you encounter a problem completing the above steps, please visit the Help Guide or call our Technology Help Desk Monday - Thursday between 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at 254-336-2999.
