  • The total revenues (General Fund, Child Nutrition, Debt Service, Special Revenue, and Capital Projects) per student as of August 31, 2023 is $14,102.00 and total expenditures per student is $14,994.00. The enrollment numbers are based on the 2023 PEIMS Peak Enrollment of 44,123.

    Total property tax revenue for KISD for the year ended August 31, 2023, was $113,813,131.00 This represents $2,579.00 per student.

  • Killeen ISD Full-Time Equivalent Employees (FTE)

    Killeen ISD had 7,218 full time equivalent positions as of August 31, 2023. Full time equivalent is a unit that indicates the workload of an employed person in a way that makes workloads comparable across various contexts.

    Killeen ISD provides information about its annual debt information on its website as required by HB 1378, which was passed by the 84th Legislature to increase the transparency of local government debt.
