Welcome to the Killeen ISD Site-Based Decision-Making (SBDM) committee webpage. The District SBDM committee is composed of representative KISD staff, parents of students enrolled in the district, business representatives, and community members, per KISD school board policies BQA(LEGAL), BQA(LOCAL), and TEC 11.251 (b-e). 

The SBDM committee assists the superintendent with the annual development, evaluation, and revision of the district improvement plan. 

Elections for professional staff are held annually in September and each member holds their position for two years. 

Each year the SBDM committee must hold a public meeting after the receipt of the annual district performance report from TEA to discuss the performance of the district and the district performance objectives. Our annual public meeting date and location are listed below.
