Special Olympics Athlete Registration

Thank you so much for your interest in participating in our Special Olympics Dream Team! We are always excited to coach and support our KISD Specialized Learning Athletes.

To ensure all athletes are in compliance with both KISD and Special Olympics Texas regulations, we ask all athletes to complete the steps below. If you have any trouble with the links, please send an email to: KISDSpecialOlympics@killeenisd.org

All Athletes must be actively enrolled in Killeen ISD. Students ages 8 years old to 21 years old with an intellectual disability and/or a closely related disability with functional limitations in both general learning and adaptive skills may join. To register for the upcoming season, please complete the following steps: 

Special Olympics Texas and KISD will only accept the following forms:  Please note that submitting outdated forms will affect athletes' eligibility. 

1. Bowling Registration: Click Here
   • Bowling registration begins August 14, 2024
   • Bowling registration deadline is September 16, 2024. Late submissions will not be accepted
2. Track and Field Registration: Click Here
   • Track and Field registration begins November 1, 2024
   • Track and Field registration deadline is January 3, 2025.  Late submissions will not be accepted

SOTX Medical Form UPDATE (07/23/2024): Special Olympics International has notified state programs that the physician's signature on the athlete registration for participation in Special Olympics at the local, area, regional and state level will no longer be required for participation.
