Killeen ISD partners with community organizations to provide safe and supportive environments for children and youth to engage in before and after-school. Being involved in an after-school program has proven to keep kids safe, provide expanded learning opportunities and assist working families. Activities such as STEM, legos & robotics, art, social-emotional learning, character building and homework help are just some of the fun and enriching learning activities offered. Child and Youth Services (CYS) provides programs and services for children of eligible military and civilian families. CYS provides opportunities such as:

The ASYMCA Killeen Child Care Program offers low-cost, high-quality before and after-school licensed care for elementary school-aged children at KISD campuses located off Fort Hood. 

ASYMCA staff members are trained to offer competent, creative, and concerned supervision. 

We believe the values and skills learned early on are critical building blocks for improved quality of life and future success.

The Boys and Girls Club of Central Texas is for boys and girls 6-18 years of age. The program provides a variety of grouped and individual recreational, educational and social programs.
