Student Safety At The Forefront

  • All KISD high schools will be closed campuses for lunch, with the exception of seniors that have met the College, Career, and Military Readiness criteria and have their parent's permission to leave campus.

The KISD Board of Trustees approved closing high school campuses for lunch due to growing safety concerns.

All freshman, sophomore, and juniors will remain on campus during lunch. Eating areas are being expanded throughout high schools to accommodate closed campus lunches.

Lunch

  • Seniors who have earned the "senior option" for off campus lunch may exercise that option any day we have Power Hour. If you have questions about the Senior Option, please email our Senior Counselor

While parents/guardians may drop food for their student, they may not drop off food for any other student and your student may not share, sell or distribute his/her food with other students. Also, food deliveries from outside delivery companies will not be accepted.

Thank you for helping us follow safety and nutritional guidelines.
