Hello Roadrunners! Welcome to the 2024-25 school year! I am excited to serve the students, staff, and parents at Meadows Elementary as an Assistant Principal. This will be my 14th year in KISD. During my teaching journey, I taught Biology, Anatomy and Physiology, Aquatic Science, and Forensic Science at Killeen High School.  From there, I took a huge leap and became the Campus Facilitator for Special Programs at Harker Heights Elementary for 3 years.

As a longtime local resident, I am a product of Killeen ISD.  I attended Central Texas College, graduated from University Mary Hardin Baylor with my bachelor’s degree in 8-12 Life Sciences. In 2017, I earned my master’s degree from in Educational Administration Lamar University as well as a master’s degree in Biological Sciences from Clemson University in 2023. When I’m not at work, I enjoy playing Trivia with friends and spending time with my husband, son, and dog. If you really knew me, you would know that I will always have a stash of Reese’s peanut butter cups hidden away in my desk.
