The campuses at Killeen ISD provide our Gifted and Talented students with differentiated instruction in the academic area(s) in which they have been identified. Gifted and Talented students at the elementary level are served through GT Cluster classes. Meadows Elementary School's Campus Instructional Specialist, Mrs. Diana Townsend, manages our Gifted and Talented program, while our Assistant Principal, Mrs. Crystal Smith, oversees it.

Teachers, counselors, parents or other interested persons can nominate a student for the Gifted and Talented Program by completing the KISD Gifted and Talented nomination form (see below). This form should then be submitted to our Meadows Front Office in a sealed envelope and addressed to Mrs. Crystal Smith, Assistant Principal.
