Hello Leopards!

I am so happy to be part of Roy J. Smith Middle School team!

I'm a Georgia native who found my happy place here in the beautiful state of Texas. I have two lovely daughters and nine amazing grandchildren who bring me unimaginable joy!

I received my B.S in Human Services from Shorter University in Rome, GA. During my years of teaching with Killeen ISD, I obtained by M.Ed. In Curriculum and Instruction and Educational Leadership, both from Texas A&M University Central Texas. This is my 16th year with KISD and I strive to continue building positive relationships with students, parents, teachers, staff, and my community.

I believe that every student has the ability to achieve their goals when provided a positive a positive and safe environment.

I am Looking forward to an amazing school year!
