Friday, March 28, 2025, 3:30 p.m. -- Dear Leopard Families, as we close out the week, I want to take a moment to acknowledge the dedication and teamwork that makes you, our school community, so special. I am proud of the resilience and care shown by our students, staff, and families—your support has made all the difference.
By reinforcing positive behavior expectations throughout the building, this week, we saw a significant decrease in discipline incidents as students eagerly re-engaged with classroom routines and school-wide expectations. We remain focused on maintaining a safe and respectful learning environment.
Morning arrival procedures have become more efficient each day. Today, all students completed the check-in process by 8:05 a.m.—a substantial improvement from earlier in the week. We appreciate your patience as we refine our system and support a safe start to each school day. Beginning Monday, we will have another Evolv system on the parent drop off/pickup side of the building.
Our daily attendance this week has remained steady, with an average daily attendance of 92% of students present this week. Thank you for making attendance a priority—it plays a fundamental role in helping students stay connected and supported.
Upcoming Parent Meeting – April 2, 2025
We are planning to host an evening parent meeting on Wednesday, April 2. This will be an opportunity to connect, share updates, and hear from campus and district leaders. More details will be shared soon, but please save the date and plan to join us.
Thank you again for your continued care and encouragement. We are committed to keeping you informed and involved as we move forward together.
Wishing you a restful and safe weekend.
Jo Ann Fey, Ed.D.
