Greetings Leopards,

My name is Fredrick Lilly II and I have the honor of serving as principal at Roy J Smith Middle School. I am originally from Camden, Arkansas. I attended the University of Arkansas-Monticello on a football and choir scholarship. I started my teaching/ coaching career in Jackson, Mississippi. I then had the opportunity to return home and worked as a dean of students, assistant principal, and principal. I am a father of 3 and happily married to an educator as well. My 3 children attend KISD. We recently moved to Texas in 2023  and I worked for Belton ISD as a building principal.

I obtained a bachelor's from the University of Arkansa-Monticello in Criminal Justice. Later, I received a master's degree in teaching arts from Mississippi College. I earned two educational specialist degrees in educational leadership focusing on Principalship and Superitendency from Arkansa State University. I am currently pursuing my Doctorate  of Education in educational leadership from Liberty University. I am looking forward to an amazing year. GO LEOPARDS!!!
