Ms. Nancy Roberts

Hello Leopard Nation! 

My name is Nancy Roberts, 6th Grade Counselor at Roy J. Smith Middle School. I am so excited to be here!

I began my education career teaching 3-5 grade special education at the elementary level for 5 years. I received my Master of Education in Counseling Degree from Lamar University in 2015 and began my counseling career at Ellison High School where I spent 2 years.  I then moved back to elementary where I spent 5 years as an elementary school counselor.  The 2024-25 school year will be my 14th year in Education.

I look forward to building relationships with students and strong partnerships with parents, students, staff, and the community. Through leadership, advocacy and collaboration, I will promote equity and access to rigorous educational experiences, a safe learning environment, and address the needs of all students.
