Mrs. Takia, Dill

Mrs. Dill has worked in KISD for 16 years and has been in Education for 24 years. She is currently a Professional School Counselor for all the 8th grade students. Mrs. Dill loves to motivate and encourage each student she encounters to be the best they can be academically and citizenship-wise. She wants to help provide a foundation for success, while challenging the normalization of failure.

Mrs. Dill promises to start with and maintain an attitude of "NOT YET." She will motivate and encourage ALL STUDENTS to maintain an attitude of "NOT YET" in the presence of failures, "NOT YET" with uncooperative teachers, staff, and anyone else that may try to derail their success. There are 365 new days and 365 new chances.

Although this is Mrs. Dill's first year at Smith M.S., she has decided to also be the cheerleading sponsor, because she loves cheer and has been coaching cheerleaders for over 30 years.
