Mrs. Diana Townsend

Hello Roadrunners! My name is Diana P. Townsend, and I am a Campus Instructional Specialist for Meadows Elementary and I am very excited to be here!

This is my ninth year in the district, and it has been an amazing experience! I have had the opportunity to work as a 5th grade teacher, a 6th grade Science teacher, a secondary At-risk Interventionist and secondary Campus Instructional Specialist.  I have a passion for learning, and I enjoy collaborating and working with a team. Students will always be my “why” and I strive to always promote and nurture their welfare whether it is inside the classroom or out.  I love our culturally rich and diverse community and I am proud of our district and our students!

I am a wife and mother of three wonderful children, and I enjoy spending time with friends and family!  My hobbies include gardening, reading and nail art!

My areas of professional interest include educational leadership and academic advisory.  

I look forward to an awesome year at Meadows Elementary!
