Ms. Yolanda Jones

My name is Yolanda Jones, and I am truly excited and honored to be able to serve students in their journey to obtaining their goals and dreams.

I was born in Charleston, South Carolina but spent many years traveling as an Army dependent. I have lived mostly in Germany, but I have also lived in Colorado and North Carolina.  My desire has always been to help people in any capacity within my power and luckily, I was pointed in the direction of education.

I spent 6 years in the Army and after exiting the military, I went to CTC to obtain my associates degree. After completing my associates, I went on to receive my bachelor’s degree from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. I taught middle school students for a few years then decided to go back to school. I received my graduate degree from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor with a major in school counseling.

I have been in education for over 19 years, and I continue to enjoy working with and building relationships with the students.

I have been married for 28 years and have a son, daughter and granddaughter. I am truly living the dream!
