It is my pleasure to be part of Skipcha Elementary School. I am excited to join you as a Campus Instructional Coach and look forward to collaborating with and getting to know each of you. I have been in education for over 17 years, 15 of which were in KISD. While in the District, I served as a teacher and a CIS.
My husband and I are the proud parents of two adult sons and a beautiful granddaughter who is starting first grade this year. We are true Alabama fans (Roll Tide). In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family, reading, and doing DIY projects.
I am thrilled about the opportunities to learn and grow, and I am looking forward to an amazing school year with each of you!

Hello, it is an honor to serve as one of the new Campus Instructional Coaches for Skipcha Elementary. This will be my 21st year in education, during which I have had the privilege of working with students in Pre-K through 2nd grade as well as middle school and high school. I received my undergraduate degree from Tarleton State University and my M.Ed. in Educational Leadership at Texas A&M - Central Texas. In my free time, I enjoy traveling and camping with my husband and two Boston Terriers. I feel excited and blessed to be serving Skipcha’s silver stars.

Ms. D’Lynn Brown
Hello, Silver Stars! My name is D’Lynn Brown, and I’m a Campus Instructional Specialist. I have lived in Texas my whole life, and I earned my undergraduate and M.Ed. degrees from Angelo State University.
This will be my 27th year in education. I’ve truly enjoyed the opportunity to help students of various ages, at several PreK-5 campuses and at the high school level! I have worked in KISD as a teacher, Student Activities Coordinator, and Campus Instructional Specialist.
My husband and I are the proud parents of two sons, ages 22 and 17. Our oldest recently graduated from UNT with a degree in finance, and our youngest is beginning his senior year in high school. In my free time, I love to learn Spanish, shop, travel, and ride roller coasters with my boys!
