¡Hola!

My name is Mahalia Scott, and I am honored to serve as Dean of Instruction at Early College High School. I am originally from Panama. Nevertheless, I have had the privilege to live, study, and teach in different corners of the world. I taught English in Panama, Spanish in South Korea, and English as a Second Language and Spanish here at KISD.

I believe children come filled with unique experiences and an innate ability to learn. With this in mind, I strive to create a collaborative and supportive learning environment where all students can learn to their maximum potential and become stewards of our community.

It is my pleasure to be a member of the Lion family, and I look forward to working together to take our scholars to new heights!
