Welcome to Mountain View Elementary School for the 2024-2025 school year. I am so excited to see our returning and new families in our school.
I have been if the education field for the past 28 years, and of those, 16 have been at Mountain View. I have been a classroom teacher, a Gifted and Talented Facilitator, and an Assistant Principal. I love math, science, boating/fishing, gardening, reading, and being outdoors.
As demands and complexities of teaching children increase, it becomes more evident that we all need to work together to ensure that our children reach their potential. We believe that all of us – the school, the community, and families – must work together for our children.
As a staff, we are working very hard across our grade levels to ensure that every child has the same opportunity for learning. We are committed to collaborating as a Professional Learning Community to provide quality rigorous instruction and remediation, if needed.
We will continue to work with your children this year and are looking forward to all the growth we will see in the spring. Please let me know if I can help you or your children in any way.
