It is with great excitement that I welcome you to a brand-new school year! I truly believe that it takes a village to raise a child, and we are incredibly fortunate to be part of a village as strong and supportive as ours. At Mountain View Elementary, we are committed to working together to ensure every student reaches their maximum potential—academically, socially, and emotionally.

Mountain View holds a very special place in my heart. I was once a Mountain View student myself, attending from kindergarten through 5th grade, and later returned as a teacher. Now, serving as your principal is both an honor and a full-circle moment for me. My personal connection to this school runs deep, and I carry that pride and commitment into everything I do.

My family is part of the military community, with my husband currently stationed at Fort Cavazos. We have one daughter who will be entering 8th grade this year. As both a parent and an educator, I understand the importance of strong school-home partnerships and the impact they have on a child’s growth.

At Mountain View, our mission is to cultivate the future by providing students with the tools, guidance, and opportunities they need to thrive. This year, we will continue to challenge our students, celebrate their successes, and support them through every step of their learning journey.
