Dr. Nerrissia Kemp-Murray

Welcome to Montague Village Elementary!!! My name is Dr. Nerrissia Kemp-Murray, and I am an innovative life-long learner. I am originally from the south suburbs of Chicago. I am a graduate of Capella University, PhD, Chicago State University BS.Ed, MS.Ed, and Lamar.  I have been in the educational system for the past 22 years as an administrator, instructional coach, teacher, professional developer, and child advocate. Due to being a military wife, I have been an educator in several school settings; IL, NC, GA, and TX.  I have thoroughly enjoyed my educational journey from teaching Pre-k through 6th grade students. My journey also includes being an instructional coach and an administrator in the K-5 school setting.  I love learning, collaborating, and building the capacity of teachers! I am a proud mom,  to Milan, a "Super Smart and Athletic" college student.  I am so honored to be a part of the Longhorn family!
