Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Stephanie Crockett

Hello and welcome to the new school year!

My name is Stephanie Crockett, and I am one of the School Counselors (At-Risk), here at Montague Village Elementary School. I graduated from Prairie View A&M University, outside of Houston, Texas, with a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and a Master’s degree in Counseling.

I was born in Alaska but moved around to where I eventually attended and graduated from Copperas Cove High School. After completing college, I started my journey in education as a Special Education Paraprofessional for CyFair ISD working with self-contained students, NAC (New Arrival Students), and students receiving Special Education services. I then taught in Killeen ISD and served as a first-grade teacher before starting my journey into being a Counselor! It has always been my passion to serve students holistically and meet their educational and social-emotional needs. My husband is also an educator for Killeen ISD, and we take pride in operating in our calling to meet the needs best we can of students and families through education, SEL, making connections, building relationships, and hosting events/clubs within the community designed with the whole child in mind.

This will be my fifth year at Montague Village Elementary School as a School Counselor, and I am excited to work with you all, build positive relationships, and serve our scholars!
