Welcome to Venable Village Elementary school, home of the Vikings! My name is Mrs. Wasson and I am proud to serve as your principal of Venable Village Elementary. I am originally from Missouri and relocated with the military to Central Texas over 30 years ago. I have worked for KISD for 27 years as a teacher, TAG facilitator, district assessor, and assistant principal before serving the last 6 years as principal of Venable Village.  

I am looking forward to the upcoming school year and the many successes that await our campus. Our staff is deeply committed to making a positive difference in the lives of our children and our community.  We will encourage all students to set high goals and become critical thinkers in their learning. By working together, we can ensure that the students of Venable Village reach their highest potential.
