A Work of Heart “Providing Security Through Blankets”
Mission Statement
We provide love, a sense of security, warmth, and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need, through security blankets lovingly created by student and community volunteers.
The school club provides a way for the students to become leaders and to serve their community.
Who Can Join?
ANYONE. Any grade level and community members are eligible too! No club dues! We will teach you to crochet, knit or quilt.
Meetings?
Every Wednesday in Room 2312 after school (4:15); special bagging days are usually on a Sunday.
Activities?
Bagging days, delivery days to Scott and White Hospital, supply drives, Make a Blanket Days, Appreciation Reception
