Mrs. Ashley Malone

My name is Ashley Malone. I am from Memphis, TN, where I graduated from West Memphis High School, where I was a four-year letterman for basketball. I attended the University of Memphis, received my bachelor's degree in business management, and was a student coach for the Lady Tigers Basketball Team. I found my love for teaching and coaching during this time. 2024-2025 will be my sixth-year teaching and my second year at Palo Alto Middle School. I currently teach 6th grade ELA and the Girl's Athletic Coordinator. This year, I am the head coach of the  8th-grade girls' Volleyball, Basketball, and Track. I love being a teacher and a coach because of its positive impact on student athletes' lives. If I can help students develop critical thinking skills, gain more confidence, and the ability to apply knowledge in their lives, then I have been a great role model.
