Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Palo Alto Middle School - Killeen Independent School District. Our students are our most important resource. We share a common goal—educating children to become active, productive, and happy contributing community members. YOU can help many of our children in school when you join our school-district volunteer program to support our students, our teachers, and our school. If you are interested in serving as a volunteer at our school, we will be delighted to hear from you! ALL volunteers must submit a volunteer application.

If you are a new volunteer and are interested in applying for a volunteer position with the Killeen Independent School District, please submit an application. Our online application will walk you through the process step-by-step. A navigation bar will be displayed along the left side of all screens and will keep you informed of your progress.

What should I start volunteering?
The first step to volunteering at Palo Alto Middle School is to complete the Killeen ISD Volunteer Application. For the safety of our students and staff, your volunteer application must be approved before you can volunteer. Approvals involve a background check by an outside entity, and Killeen Independent School District also requires volunteers to attend a campus Volunteer Orientation.

What if I completed the volunteer application last year?
Every year, every returning volunteer is required to complete the volunteer application. Even if you were an approved volunteer last school year, you are not approved to volunteer for the current year until you complete a volunteer application.
