Ms. Monica Bates-Evans

I am Monica Bates-Evans and I am excited to be one of the School Counselors at Pershing Park.

This is my year fifteenth year as an educator.  In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, shopping, and relaxing with a cup of coffee.

My goal as a counselor is to serve the needs of all students by helping them to build positive self-images, develop social and emotional skills, and to promote success in their academic achievements. 

I look forward to working together with teachers, parents, and the community to help our students become productive and contributing members of society.
