Dear KISD Families,
I want to take a moment to address concerns you may have regarding the recent federal directive to temporarily freeze certain federal grant and loan disbursements. Based on the most current information we have, KISD does not anticipate any disruptions to our services for students, such as serving breakfast and lunch funded by federal dollars. We plan to continue our meal service as normal at each campus.
District leaders will continue to monitor the situation and keep you informed of any changes that could impact our school operations.
