STEM Overview

Through a technology-enriched curriculum designed to activate analytical, critical, and inventive thinking, Killeen ISD STEM Academies prepares students to thrive in a highly complex 21st-century society. The program provides project-based learning opportunities that engage, excite, and empower students to be self-motivated, adept, lifelong learners. 

KISD offers a middle school STEM Academy at Nolan MS and Roy J. Smith MS and a high school STEM Academy at each of our six comprehensive high schools.
