    Library Hours: 7:45 a.m. - 2:40 p.m., Virtual Access 24 hours a day

The Reeces Creek ES Library is an exciting place to visit. We have a beautiful library that opened in 2012, with a collection of over 10,000 books for students and staff to check out. The number will grow over the course of this next school year. Our goal is to have the "just right book" for every student and to encourage life-long reading and learning. We are excited to have a dedicated space for our Maker Den, and our newest addition are a 3-D printer and Indi robots! A special thank you goes out to the district and the KISD Education Foundation for providing the materials needed to start our own Maker Den.

We have eBooks in our library collection. Be sure to check out what is available through our online library catalog. It is due to the generosity of the KISD Education Foundation that we now have almost 400 eBooks available for our students. With the new year, we also have over 500 new books for our students, with more books on the way. There are many of our students' favorites and soon to be new favorites: Library of Doom, Bad Kitty, Pete the Cat, Diary of the Wimpy Kid and many more. Be sure to check out the New Book stand to see the new books as well as the new 2x2 and Bluebonnet Books displays.

A special thank you goes out to the NAFIS, A+ Education Foundation, Killeen ISD Education Foundation, Laura Bush Foundation for America's Libraries for funding our grants this past year for a total of over $18,000, which includes the addition of book bins, an overhaul of our Pre-K and Graphic Library sections of the library, a new section in the library. These items will be introduced to our library during the course of this year.

Our staff consists of Rayanne Polm as the librarian and Tori Mullins, as our library educational associate! We look forward to seeing you at the RCES library!

Ms. Rayanne Polm

Hello, I'm Rayanne Polm, your friendly librarian here at Reeces Creek Elementary School, where our mascot is the spirited coyote! I have a deep passion for fostering a love of reading and learning in our young coyotes, and I'm here to help your children embark on exciting literary adventures.

With a warm and welcoming smile, I invite students to explore the magical world of books in our cozy library. Whether it's recommending the perfect book, organizing engaging reading programs, or simply sharing stories that ignite young imaginations, I'm dedicated to creating a nurturing environment where every child can find their own path to a lifelong love of learning.

At Reeces Creek Elementary, we're not just a school, we're a family. Together, we'll journey through the pages of countless tales, and I'll be here every step of the way to support, inspire, and guide our young coyotes toward a bright and knowledgeable future. It's a joy and an honor to be part of this community, and I look forward to welcoming your child to our library oasis.
