KISD MIDDLE SCHOOL BASKETBALL PROTOCOL

  • LENGTH OF QUARTERS:

    All “B” Games – Five (5) Minutes

    7 ”A” Games – Six (6) Minutes

    8 ”A” Games – Seven (7) Minutes

    OVERTIMES:

    Overtimes for “B” team games will be SUDDEN DEATH.

    Overtimes for “A” team games will be determined in the following order:

    • Two (2) minute overtime
    • Two (2) minute overtime
    • SUDDEN DEATH

    TIME OUTS:

    Each team will be allowed four (4) one (1) minute time outs per

    game.

    OTHER REGULATIONS:

    Teams may not press full court if they are ahead by 20 points or more.
