Welcome to Audie Murphy Middle School (AMMS). As one of the counselors, I am honored to serve the Fort Cavazos community andstudents' last names A-L.
I grew up in Bell County, graduating from Belton High, Temple Junior College, and earning my bachelor's and master's degrees from UMHB. Learning is one of my passions, and I pray to remain teachable. My heart belongs to children. Regardless of age, theirs or mine, I learn so much from them.

I am thrilled to serve as a Falcon School Counselor and work specifically with students whose last names begin with M - Z! I grew up in New York City and attended Gordon College and Salem State University, both in Massachusetts, to receive my Bachelor’s degree and Master's of Education in School Counseling, respectively. It’s been a privilege to work in several different educational settings over the years from higher education (college admissions) to New York public high schools to a Texas K-12 private Christian school and now landing in the Nest, aka Audie Murphy! However, my favorite roles continue to be wife and mother to my amazing family.
As a military spouse, Audie Murphy is special to me due to our significant military-connected student population. All our students deserve our best efforts to encourage their growth during these important middle school years, and our Counseling Department is committed to doing exactly that. I believe when students feel supported and empowered by both their families and their school, they achieve success. Let’s partner together to make this a wonderful year for our students!
