Mrs. Amy Sobers

Hi, I’m Amy Sobers, and I’ve had the privilege of serving in the KISD district for the past 18 years. My journey has included working as a special education aide, teaching first grade, and now supporting students as an elementary and middle school counselor. Each of these roles has deepened my passion for guiding children to overcome challenges and helping them achieve success.

I am committed to creating a safe, supportive space for students, families, and staff. I believe in the power of kindness, optimism, and celebrating the unique contributions that every individual brings to the world. My goal is to empower every child to recognize their worth, grow confidently, and embrace their potential.

Outside of work, I love spending time in the fresh air and sunshine, practicing yoga, and cherishing time with my three beautiful daughters and two Godchildren. I’m also a proud pug parent and believe in finding joy in every moment. It is my greatest honor to work alongside our students, families, and staff to build a brighter future together!
