Mrs. Myphuong Tran

I was born in Vietnam and immigrated to America at 10 years old. I graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a Bachelor’s in Psychology. I went on to receive a Master’s in Management Information System from UMUC. I have been an educator for 10 years with 7 years as a classroom teacher and 3 years as a campus facilitator. This is my first year as Assistant Principal for 6th-8th grade A-L students.  I look forward to working with the students, parents, and staff at UGMS. I believe building relationships is vital to the success of all students.  I look forward to the opportunity to forge those relationships and support all the stakeholders of UGMS.  Here’s to an amazing year together!
