Hours
- Open school days 7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
- Scheduled visits with a reading teacher every two weeks.
- During lunch with a pass only (passes are given out daily in the cafeteria).
- Non-scheduled visits require a hall pass and a sign-in.
Etiquette
- Respect other library users by working, studying, and reading quietly.
- Keep the Library clean by not eating, drinking, or chewing gum.
- Keep the library neat by disposing of trash properly and pushing in chairs.
Areas of Interest
- Computer Stations
- Books: Easy, Fiction, Graphic Novels, Nonfiction, and Spanish.
- Makerspaces
Computers
- Permission from library staff must be obtained prior to use (including printing).
- Parent permission required to use the Internet (form received in registration packet).
- Internet safety must be practiced at all times.
Checkouts
- Three books allowed with ID card; two books allowed without ID card. (Two Week Checkout)
- Fines charged for overdue, damaged, and lost: 10 cents a day ($1.00 maximum) per overdue book, 5-100% book value per damaged book/device, and replacement cost per lost book/device.
- Checkouts and field trips are restricted until all overdue books/devices are returned and all fines are paid.
- No refunds are given, but students may help out in the library to pay off their fines.
ID Cards
- Received during first week of school.
- Replaced for $5.00 (before school ONLY).
- Must bring take to school every day.
- Must not deface a card or a replacement will need to be purchased.
