The Grizzly STEM club was formed to promote critical thinking skills by providing students with engaging opportunities using robotics, drones, and engineering projects. The tasks associated with the club’s activities and team competitions are used to facilitate and encourage study in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM).
The club is open to all 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students who are interested in robotics, drones, programming, fabrication, engineering, science, and math - and meet the club’s eligibility guidelines. The purpose for the club is to create a structured environment where the students can develop their creativity and team building skills.
A one-time membership fee of twenty dollars will be required to help fund the club’s material needs. Fundraisers may be needed to fund the club further.
The club will meet two times a month from 3:45 to 5:00 in room 404. The club normally forms around the beginning of October and runs through the end of April. Please listen for announcements during school for membership information.
