Attention Juniors and Seniors! Herff Jones will be on campus next week for class ring orders on Monday, Oct. 23, from 11:30am-1:30pm and Tuesday, Oct. 24, from 11:30am-7:00pm in the Commons area. Due to a broken AC (that is in the process of being repaired!) we will be postponing our production of Almost, Maine to November 2-4. Please spread the word and save the date!
The junior class will be pre-selling chicken biscuits beginning Thursday, October 19th through Tuesday October 24th B lunch. Don’t lose your receipt because you will need it to pick up your sandwich on the next fun food day, October 26th. Chik-fil-a will be set up in the commons from 8:00 am – 8:30 am, and you will give them your receipt in exchange for a chicken biscuit.
The cost is 3.00 per chicken biscuit. Buy more than one if you want! Thank you for supporting the junior class!!
Novel Writing Club-
It was a dark and stormy night... and in Room 152, creative students were furiously writing and plotting. November is National Novel Writing Month - for 30 days you are challenged to write the creative story that has haunted you. Informational meeting will be on Tuesday, October 24, in room 152 starting at 4:30, to find out more about creative writing and challenges.
All lovers of Korean music, culture, and dramas - we will hold our next regular meeting on Wednesday, October 25, from 4:30 to 5:45. Come after tutoring to room 152 and join in the fun - we are currently watching the K-Drama "Strong Woman".
Any interested writers who would like to write for the school paper, the Pinion, are invited to attend the second meeting on Monday, October 16 from 4:30 to 5 in room 152. We will discuss the upcoming quarter and important items that should be included in the newspaper and newsletters. Hope to see you then. There will be another meeting on Monday, October 30, if you are unable to attend this next meeting.
A representative from Stephen F. Austin University will be here on Wednesday, October 25th, during 3rd period. Sign up in the counselors’ office to attend.

Calling all anime fans, fanfic writes, gamers, and everything in between!
Anime Club is here to give you a place to relax, have fun, and make friends. You don’t have to pay or sign up to join, but if you want you can become a member and get a cool custom ID and shirt to wear! Get together every Thursday in room 107 after school to enjoy anime, videogames, and general nerd culture over the sounds of screaming fans.
Do you love FREE snacks and drinks as much as I do? Would you like to compete in tournaments for prizes against the other high schools? Need a place to hang out with your friends? Ellison's after school AYPYN program starts September 5th in the student union. If you have any questions you can stop by Room 218 to speak with Miss Robinson.
