My name is James Sturgeon. I am assistant principal here at Nolanville Elementary. This is my second year at Nolanville and my 16th year in education. I have worked in Special education as well as general education, with a joy to work with kids, parents and teachers to help them be successful. I am a father of 5, grandfather of 7 and husband of 28 years! I also serve as a part time pastor!

At Nolanville Elementary, we strive to provide students with relevant, rigorous, and engaging learning opportunities to support students in achieving academic success and become future ready scholars. We work hard to build positive relationships between home and school. I strongly believe that all students can achieve at higher levels when provided with strong relationships in a safe and nurturing learning environment.

My name is Nita Garcia, and I am extremely excited about returning to Nolanville Elementary as an assistant principal. This year will be my 14th year in education. I have had the privilege of serving our NES families as a classroom teacher and Campus Facilitator. I have also had the honor of serving as a Campus Instructional Specialist for one year. I am a proud mother to 3 young men and wife to a very supportive husband.
