Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Christina Harris

Christina Harris grew up on a handful of military bases around the country/world as the child of a soldier in the Army. Her family arrived in Killeen in 1992 and she went on to graduate from Ellison High School in 1996. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Oklahoma City University in May of 2000 and began her teaching career at a middle school in the Oklahoma City Public School district. In 2004, she returned to the Killeen area and began teaching at Killeen High School. During her first six years at Killeen High School, Mrs. Harris taught English and AVID and served as the AVID Coordinator.  She received her master’s degree in Educational Administration along with her principal certification from Texas A&M University-Central Texas.  Continuing her service at Killeen High School, Mrs. Harris became the Campus Instructional Specialist in 2011, and then in 2014, she became an assistant principal and served for 3 years before becoming the Director of Curriculum and Instruction.

Mrs. Harris and her husband met at Ellison High School and have been married for 22 years.  They are proud parents of two adult children (both are graduates of Killeen High School) and proud grandparents.

Mrs. Harris is excited to be part of the team at THE Charles Patterson Middle School, the best middle school in KISD!
