Mrs. Jana Cox

My name is Jana Cox, and I’m originally from the Abilene area, where I grew up with four brothers and two sisters.  I married my husband Jesse in 2010, and we have a daughter named Jael and a son named Joshua. I graduated from Texas A&M-Central Texas in December 2019 with a Bachelor of Science and a teaching certificate for 4-8 ELAR/SS. The following summer, I obtained my ESL certification. I started my teaching career in Copperas Cove ISD, where I served as an ESL interventionist for three years. In the Spring of 2024, I started my masters’ program for Library Science. I hope to complete this program by December 2025.
