Mrs. Debbie Rodriguez-Naoe

Debbie Rodriguez-Naoe grew up as a military child moving across various states throughout her childhood. Following her family's relocation to Texas, she graduated from Harker Heights High School, grounding her connection to the local community. Mrs. Naoe went on to earn her Bachelor's degree from Texas A&M Central Texas, a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and a Master’s in Professional School Counseling from Lamar University. Her teaching experience began at Charles Patterson Middle School, where she served as an 8th grade Math/Algebra teacher. Beyond the classroom, Mrs. Naoe embraced every opportunity to make a positive impact by assuming responsibilities as the campus 8th Grade Team Lead, 8th Grade Club sponsor, and an Academic UIL coach. In acknowledgment of her dedication, she was chosen as the 2022-2023 campus teacher of the year, an honor that resonates with her deep commitment to student growth and development.

Mrs. Naoe’s experience in education has fostered a profound insight – that every student possesses unique talents and strengths that deserve recognition. With a focus on student diversity, she is dedicated to cultivating an environment that celebrates individuality and encourages mutual support in achieving personal and academic ambitions. Mrs. Naoe’s lifelong passion for forging meaningful connections with her students serves as the cornerstone of her mission, inspiring resilience, nurturing growth mindsets, and fostering a culture of academic excellence.

Beyond her role as a dedicated counselor and mentor, Mrs. Naoe is married to Jeffrey Naoe, and together they share a son named Julian and a faithful four-legged companion named Oliver. In her spare time, Mrs. Naoe enjoys crafting, gardening, singing karaoke, and exploring new horizons through travel.
